The estate dates back to 1086 with the first wine released in 1996. Nyetimber is the pioneering English sparkling wine producer, its wines rival the best in the world. With uncompromising attention to details, Nyetimber quickly rose to international fame. The outstanding quality of the wines are noted by many hoteliers and celebrities. They are served on board Her Majesty The Queen’s Royal Barge during the Diamond Jubilee celebrations in London. In 2018, winemaker Cherie Spriggs was awarded the Sparkling Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge (IWC) – first time in history awarded to a woman and a non-Champagne house! In April 2019, Nyetimber was in Tatler’s “Best British Luxury Brands” list.
