“Labeled by Parker as one of the World’s Greatest Wine Estates. Salon has been around since 1910. Only in exceptional years are Salon made, a feature unique to the best Champagnes in the world, with limited production and using traditional vinification. Between 1921 and 1998, Salon has released only 32 vintages in this seventy–seven year period. Another important fact is that Salon still produces solely one wine per declared vintage. The wines are kept in the cellars for a minimum of 8-12 years, allowing them to gain in complexity and finesse, before it is disgorged by hand and released to the market.”
