Ruby red in color with a nose of discreet red fruits, earthy notes, spices and licorice. The palate is fruit-filled yet delicate, offering juicy richness and lively tannins suggesting excellent aging potential. Light-bodied now with a nice bouquet of cherry and earthy blackcurrant, it leads to an easy, fresh palate. Already showing impressive maturity, it has developed tertiary notes of blackberry, game, leather, pepper, tobacco and chocolate. Approachable but with great complexity hinting at further evolution to come.
