Chapter and Verse Reserve Chardonnay 2017

Deep lemon yellow, almost golden in appearance. On the nose, this wine has developed well: it still has a rich Chardonnay fruit core (lemon peel, red apple, peach), combined with toasted oak and some honey and hazelnut, all of which blend well together. The 2017 Reserve Chardonnay is full-bodied in taste, with that rich fruit core supported by some lively acidity and quite good high alcohol content. There is also a considerable amount of creaminess in the mouth. The taste of caramel does not overpower the other flavors.
