Additionally, recycling keeps glass out of landfills where it can take thousands of years to decompose. Beyond the environmental impacts, recycling wine bottles also makes economic sense by requiring less energy than producing new glass, resulting in cost savings that can be passed on to consumers.
As wine consumption continues growing globally, it is crucial that we all make recycling wine bottles a habit to reduce waste and support sustainability.

How to participate?
Drink: Enjoy your wine! Rinse: Thoroughly rinse out the empty wine bottle to remove any residual liquid or debris. This helps prepare the bottle for recycling. Deliver to Lyndhurst Wine: Bring the rinsed, empty wine bottle to our Sheung Wan shop. Our staff will be happy to accept your recycled bottle. Deliver to Baguio: Lyndhurst Wine will then collect and transport the returned bottles to our recycling partner, Baiguo, a local glass recycling facility. Earn: As a thank you for your recycling efforts, Lyndhurst Wine will provide 100 reward points (100 points = HK$1) per empty wine bottle returned through our recycling program. Customers can redeem these points for discounts, gifts, or other special offers.
