Founded in 1963 in Grand Cru Verzy, Pierre Deville is now led by fourth-generation winemaker Alban Corbeaux, who converted the estate to organic and biodynamic farming from 2017. Primitif MV blends 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay across multiple harvests, with partial oak fermentation and Extra Brut dosage — widely praised for its depth and purity. The nose offers dark cherry, citrus zest, and toasted brioche.
The palate is rich and precise, with layered red fruit, chalk, and a long, dry, saline finish.
