Josmeyer Riesling Grand Cru Hengst 2018

Josmeyer Riesling Grand Cru 2018 mixed all six parcels picked between September 28 and October 9 and kept them in wooden casks until bottling in early July 2019. The wine is very intense, fresh and pure on a complex, lemony and still phenolic aroma. Full, rich and very elegant on the palate, this is a lush but delicate and sustainable brine Hengst with grapefruit bitterness and a long and promising finish. It's a powerful and age-worthy Riesling that is very sophisticated even if not generous in terms of perfect maturity. 13.3% indicates alcohol. Natural cork stopper. Tasting at the estate in May 2022.
