Product Description
A regional blend of 85% Barossa Valley and 15% Eden Valley Shiraz from old, low-yielding vineyards, this John Duval release ferments separately by parcel with gentle extraction before 15 months maturation in French oak, roughly one-third new.
Dark berries, plum and boysenberry lift on the nose, layered with anise, clove and dark chocolate. The palate is dark and brooding, showing excellent fruit concentration with youthful, well-integrated tannins carrying a long, spiced finish.
