Est. 1929, Bouquin-Dupont Fils is a hidden-gem grower Champagne house from Avize in the heart of the Côte des Blancs — one of just 17 Grand Cru villages in all of Champagne. This Vieilles Vignes NV Blanc de Blancs is 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay, aged an exceptional 4-10 years on lees — a commitment rivalling any prestige cuvée.
The nose captivates with hazelnuts, fresh brioche, apricot marmalade and white flowers. Andreas Larsson, Best Sommelier of the World, notes "intense maturity, autolytic complexity, fresh butter, ripe citrus — generous and creamy on the palate with balanced acidity and great length". Vogt MS calls it "cascading waves of candied citrus, quince, yellow plum, wet stone and ginger — finish grows for a minute plus". Simply unmissable.
