Product Description
Prestige Blanc de Blancs from a Classic Vintage
Awarded 97 points by James Suckling and 95 by Wine Advocate, the Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 2013 captures the pedigree of this exceptional vintage. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay sourced exclusively from five Grand Cru villages in Côte des Blancs—Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, and Oger—this prestige cuvée reveals lemon confit, white flowers, pear, apple, marzipan, and ginger with mineral complexity. Aged nine years on lees, the wine unfolds with passionfruit, brioche, crushed rocks, and chamomile.
Structured and Age-Worthy
Light- to medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and striking finesse, the palate delivers citrus peel, honeyed notes, nashi pear, and a chalky mineral finish characteristic of Grand Cru terroir. Possessing natural delicacy, this Taittinger champagne extends with energy, saline austerity, and ethereal elegance. A luminous Blanc de Blancs with immense aging potential through 2040-2055.
