A collaboration between Domaine de Montille's Étienne de Montille and Champagne's Rodolphe Péters, Racines makes this 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs entirely by traditional method, resting 2.5 years on lees before disgorgement to build real depth and mousse.
Wine Advocate calls it "effortlessly fragrant and refined," citing "citrus peel, green orchard fruit, nougat and crushed stone" aromas with a palate that's "elegantly chalky and succulent." Vinous notes it's "compelling," straddling the line between still and sparkling wine with real finesse.
