Product Description
The name of the site “Le Dessous de la Cabane” – the bottom of the cabin is a classic case of understatement. The region represents a mixture of marl and chalk soil, rendering this part of Champagne quite exceptional. It is this unique blend of soil that lends Jeaunaux-Robin’s champagne its distinct minerality paired with an equally opulent taste ripe with red berries. With its slightly higher dosage of 8g and its piquant acidity, the rosé is laid-back and inviting. The cuvée of 60% Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay (including 15% red Pinot Meunier from 2013) is aged in stainless steel and wood.
