From the legendary Santenots lieu-dit (technically in Meursault but classified as Volnay), this 2020 Premier Cru showcases Faiveley's mastery of Volnay's perfumed style. The wine unfolds with rose petal, raspberry, and crushed stone aromas, leading to a palate of red fruit and silky tannins with a long, floral finish. Aged 18 months in 35% new oak, this is a more structured expression than the Beaune Clos de l'Écu, built for cellaring until 2030+.
