The 2022 shows a radiant golden hue with green highlights, and an expressive nose of toasted almonds, juicy peaches, licorice, and citrus. On the palate it's rich, seamless, and full-bodied — layers of sweet citrus, white pepper, and walnut nuttiness, with vibrant acidity and pronounced minerality carrying through to a warm, harmonious finish.
Jancis Robinson MW described past vintages of L'Ormeau as "creamy, rich, buttery — classic Meursault through and through".
