A rich deep ruby hue. The aroma is moderately intense, featuring hints of oak, damp wool, leather, chocolate, and dark fruits such as blackberry and plum. It presents a dry profile with balanced acidity and tannins, a medium to full body, and a persistent finish. Given these characteristics, this wine has the potential to age gracefully for another 5 to 6 years before beginning to show signs of decline. The finish is marked by lingering notes of leather, tobacco, and cigar box.
