Product Description
Garretti is one of the few Barolo parcels facing fully south, in Grinzane Cavour. La Spinetta Barolo Garretti 2021 comes from this 100% Nebbiolo vineyard, where good ventilation creates a wide day-to-night temperature range, even in warm years. The wine is aged for at least 18 months in used French oak.
Awarding it 93 points, Jeb Dunnuck describes “spicy and warming aromas of cedar, ripe cherries, dried herbs, and leather.” He adds that the palate has a “compact, refreshing, angular structure, bright acidity, and a mineral-inflected finish.”
