Barbaresco Valeirano is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the town of Treiso, in the Cuneo province. The area is known for its limestone-rich soil, which gives the wine a distinctive mineral aftertaste. The south-facing vines are cultivated using the Guyot system.
Harvesting takes place from early to mid-October, with maceration and fermentation lasting around 7 to 8 days at a constant temperature. Malolactic fermentation occurs in oak barriques, followed by aging in French oak barriques for a period.
