Product Description
Muga Reserva 2022, from one of Rioja's most respected family estates, blends Tempranillo with Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano, fermented in the winery's own hand-built oak vats with indigenous yeast. The wine matures for 24 months in barrels coopered in-house from 80% French and 20% American oak, then rests a further 12 months in bottle before release.
Ripe cherry and plum skin lead the nose alongside smoked paprika, dried herbs and lightly toasted oak. The palate stays medium-bodied with sculpted, fine-grained tannins and lively acidity, closing on a long, elegant finish.
