Product Description
This Savage red is made from Cinsault grown on 43-year-old vines. Half the grapes are fermented with their stems, then the wine ages a year in older large barrels and clay jars, for a fresh, gentle style. Expect strawberry, cherry, rose petal and violet, with plum and white pepper. It's light on its feet, with fine, dry structure.
Serve it lightly chilled with roast duck, grilled salmon or mushroom pasta. It suits Pinot Noir lovers who want an elegant red, and it's enjoyable now or can be kept for several years.
- Style: Light to medium body, silky and fresh, with fine, dry grip
- Tasting notes: Strawberry, cherry, rose petal, violet, plum
