Product Description
This Savage white is a blend of 71% sauvignon blanc and 29% Semillon. The grapes ferment naturally, without added yeast, in oak barrels and concrete eggs. They then age for 12 months, which adds texture without an oaky taste. Expect white flowers, pear, grapefruit and blackcurrant leaf, with a hint of spice and a fresh, savoury, slightly salty finish.
Serve it chilled with grilled fish, oysters or goat's cheese. It suits drinkers who want a white with more body and depth than a typical Sauvignon, and it can also be kept for a few years.
- Style: Medium to full body, dry and textured, with fresh acidity
- Tasting notes: White flowers, pear, grapefruit, blackcurrant leaf, flint
