Product Description
Montepeloso's grand vin, this Eneo blends 65% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malvasia Nera from hand-harvested, lime-rich clay and silex vineyards in Suvereto. Spontaneous fermentation runs in temperature-controlled vats, with malolactic fermentation completed in used French barriques before 8-10 months in barrel and 12 months in bottle.
Dark ruby in color, the nose is opulent and intense with black fruit and spicy notes, backed by toasted hardwood aromas and pronounced minerality. The palate is silky and well balanced - a serious, age-worthy expression from Montepeloso's coastal Tuscany vineyards.
