This Spain red wine is a Mencía-led blend with Merenzao, Brancellao and a little Garnacha Tintorera. The grapes soak with their skins for 28 days, then age 18 months in French oak, giving rich colour and gentle spice.
Try it with braised lamb, sausages or wild mushrooms. It suits red wine lovers who like fragrant, elegant reds.
