Product Description
El Espino is crafted to embody a modern style of Ribera del Duero wines, combining the power of traditional styles with a smooth and lush mouthfeel. It features ripe black cherry and blackberry aromas and flavors, enhanced by crisp acidity and well-integrated tannins. The grapes are sourced from three different vineyards. Half of them undergo malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, while the other half ferment in second-use French oak barrels. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels (20% new) for 12 months, followed by four months in tanks, before being bottled in September 2022.
