Deep, dark, almost opaque, ruby-red in color. The aromas are of open cassis & black-cherry fruit. The velvety-textured palate is rich, & generous in nature with ripe cassis fruit & a seam of cedary new oak that runs through the palate. There ia a good depth of fruit on the mid-palate. Alcohol is balanced & nice acidity keeps the fruit fresh, ensuring a long complex finish.
