Product Description
Sourced from original Bordeaux cuttings brought to Coonawarra's 95 Block before phylloxera struck France, this cabernet sauvignon (blended with Petit Verdot) ferments in stainless steel with controlled pump-overs, then ages 17 months in 90% new French oak.
Wine Advocate notes it's "slightly lifted, floral and minty on the nose," delivering "cassis fruit" in a "rich and velvety" style.
James Suckling adds "notes of paprika, black peppers and blackcurrants... fresh acidity and a chewy finish".
