Product Description
The Brauneberger Juffer vineyard ranks as Burgundy's equivalent of Premier Cru, sitting on 80% grade slopes with Devonian slate rich in ferruginous minerals that impart distinctive earthy spiciness. Facing due south along the Mosel River, these steep terraces produce Riesling of delicate elegance with citrus, white peach, and lively minerality.
Artisan Craftsmanship
This Kabinett ferments naturally in traditional 960-liter old oak fuders using indigenous yeast, with no pesticides or herbicides in the vineyard. The result is a staff favorite that "hides 53g residual sugar so well". Grapefruit zest and green apple lead to peach bellini and creamy quince notes on the palate, with superb acidity bringing lightness and tension.
