Product Description
A blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano, this Muga Reserva is fermented in oak vats using indigenous yeasts, then aged 24 months in the estate's own French and American oak barrels before a further 12 months in bottle — the hallmark craftsmanship behind one of Rioja's most consistent benchmarks.
Wine Advocate's Luis Gutierrez found "chopped cherry and plum skin flavors, with fragrant hints of ground coffee, smoked paprika and dried marjoram," while James Suckling notes "blackberries, dark plums, fine spices, cocoa powder" over firm, fine-grained tannins.
