Paul Hobbs Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2021 is a precision-crafted expression of California's premier cool-climate region, blending fruit from six distinguished estate vineyards across the appellation. Whole-cluster pressed while cold from the field, the wine undergoes native yeast barrel fermentation followed by 12 months aging sur lies in French oak (25% new) with bi-weekly bâtonnage and spontaneous malolactic conversion, then bottled unfined and unfiltered. Expect aromas of red apple skin, Asian pear, Meyer lemon zest and gardenia opening to a palate of ripe apricot, nectarine and lemon meringue with graceful texture.
