Region and Appellation: Friuli
Product Description
Named after the hill Silvio Jermann bought in 1991, this italy blend of Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia and Picolit macerates briefly on skins, then ferments and ages 10 months in oak before a two-year cellar rest prior to release.
Bright gold in the glass, it opens with candied citrus, ginger, dried flowers and light floral notes, unfolding into a creamy, velvety palate with mint, sage and zesty green citrus. The finish is remarkably long and fresh, tinged with flinty minerality.
