Product Description
Wine Spectator Top 100 Winner (#98)
Ranked #98 in Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of 2025 with 95 points and awarded 98 points by Vinous' Antonio Galloni, the Platt Vineyard Reserve Pinot Noir 2023 represents the inaugural vintage from one of California's most legendary sites. For over 20 years, this windswept West Sonoma Coast vineyard supplied fruit to the region's most sought-after wines—now available under their own label. Aromatics burst with dark berries, lavender, sage, blood orange, pomegranate, and spice, complemented by new leather, cedar, and violets.
Muscular Yet Refined
Medium to deep ruby-purple in color, this wine delivers tremendous density and power with black raspberries, black cherries, licorice, pine needle, and black tea. Despite its serious nature and mineral-driven tension, it remains juicy and accessible, gaining weight mid-palate with ripe skin tannins and polished oak. Crafted predominantly from Calera clone on ancient Goldridge soils, this Platt Vineyard wine exudes class and pedigree—cellar through 2035
