Certified organic since 2017, San Polo — the Allegrini family's di Montalcino estate — ferments 100% Sangiovese in concrete tanks and ages 30 months in large oak casks for structure and finesse. Scoring 93 points from both James Suckling and Wine Advocate, this San Polo wine is praised for its "savory character from start to finish" with sour plum, bark, and iodine on the nose.
The palate delivers bright berry, mossy depth, and dark chestnut — fine, integrated tannins and a long, earthy finish.
