An 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc blend from gravelly vineyards in Bolgheri, this iconic Sassicaia ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel with natural yeasts before 24 months maturation in French oak, one-third new.
Rich and concentrated, the 2015 shows black currant, blackberry, violet and spice, framed by fine, ripe tannins and a long, elegant finish. Dense yet balanced, with vibrant acidity, it's a landmark vintage from Tuscany's most celebrated Bordeaux-style estate.
