Hakushu 12YO comes from Suntory’s mountain forest distillery beneath Mount Kaikomagatake in Japan. This single malt whisky is lightly peated, making gentle smoke part of its character rather than the dominant flavour. Its twelve-year age statement distinguishes it from the distillery’s non-age-statement release.

Green apple, basil and pine needle lead the aromas, followed by sweet pear, mint and kiwi on the palate. The finish brings green tea and subtle smoke, keeping the overall impression crisp, herbal and lightly fruity.
