Product Description
La Petite Odyssée Blanc Panorama 2023 showcases innovative natural wine from Antoine Bernardin's rising estate in Haute-Garonne, Southwest France. This distinctive white blend combines 40% Grenache Blanc, 30% Bouysselet (a rare local variety), and 30% Chardonnay from vines aged 28-36 years, planted on unique Pyrenean pebble terroir. The estate has expanded from 4 to 8 hectares since 2020, producing wines under organic and biodynamic conversion with minimal intervention—hand-harvesting in small crates, natural fermentation, and slight sulfur addition at bottling. This approach creates highly digestible wines that authentically express the Southwest French terroir.
Tasting Profile
The 2023 vintage opens with a fresh, direct nose revealing citrus, lemon, grapefruit, peach, and small flowers with mineral undertones. Lively and well-balanced, the palate delivers young pineapple and white peach fruit alongside a lovely sensation of minerality and saline notes that invite another sip. The wine exhibits a nice dryness reminiscent of pebbles, with vibrant freshness throughout the satisfying finish.
