Product Description
Founded by Burgundian winemaker Jean-Nicolas Méo and Jay Boberg, nicolas-jay crafts this super cuvée from the eight best barrels across Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity and Yamhill-Carlton, native-fermented and aged 14 months in French oak.
James Suckling notes "spiced plums, cherries, rose hips, cedar and baking spices on the nose... medium-bodied with tightly knit tannins. Tight, textured and energetic." Jamie Goode adds it's "harmonious and silky, but also has nice brightness and a bit of grip" - a wine with an oregon stamp yet distinctly Old World refinement.
