Product Description
One of champagne's most traditional houses since 1864, Alfred Gratien ferments exclusively in small 228-litre oak barrels with no malolactic fermentation — preserving vivid acidity. Aged 4 years on lees, hand-riddled and disgorged; a 45/35/20 Chardonnay-Meunier-Pinot Noir blend.
- Nose: White pear, citrus, mango, apricot, brioche, and subtle toasty oak — complex, fresh, and inviting
- Palate: Lively attack, fine acidity, silky effervescence — elegant minerality, slight viscosity, and fluid vinosity
- Finish: Long, remarkably mineral — saline, chalky, and clean with lingering lemon zest and yeast
