Product Description
Amarone della Valpolicella Moropio Antolini 2020 is an exceptional organic expression from Italy's Valpolicella Classico, crafted by the passionate Antolini family in Marano di Valpolicella. This wine showcases a classic blend of Corvina (35%), Corvinone (35%), Rondinella (25%), and Molinara (5%) from 50-year-old vines rooted in clayey, tuffaceous soils.
Extended Appassimento & Multi-Wood Mastery
Grapes undergo 90-120 days of loft-drying on straw mats, losing 30-40% of their weight to concentrate sugars and aromatics. After indigenous yeast fermentation in stainless steel, the wine ages 24 months in oak, mulberry, cherry, and chestnut wood casks, plus 6-12 months in bottle.
Intense Dried Fruit & Velvety Depth
The nose reveals intense complexity with dried flowers, black cherry and sour cherry jam, sweet spices, chocolate, China root, forest honey, and subtle notes of vine bark and green olive. The palate is warm, silky, and refined with velvety tannins, remarkable acidity providing finesse, and exceptional length.
