Product Description
Boisson-Vadot Anne Boisson Bourgogne Aligoté 2011 is sourced from 60-year-old vines in the heart of Meursault — handpicked, wild-yeast fermented and aged 15–18 months in old oak barrels with minimal batonnage, 5–10% new oak.
Wine Advocate praised the producer's Aligoté for its "waxy pear, toasted nuts and citrus oil — medium-to-full body, concentrated and lively with a chalky mineral tension". Drinkers note a complex nose of honeysuckle, brioche, roasted almonds and linden blossom, with a palate of ripe pear, tropical fruit, lemon zest and saline minerality — pure, elegant and long. A revelation for the Bourgogne Aligoté appellation.
