Product Description
Bollinger B16 Brut 2016 is a daring vintage Champagne crafted exclusively from Grands and Premiers Crus in the Montagne de Reims, showcasing the Maison's expert craftsmanship through challenging conditions. Composed of 73% Pinot Noir and 27% Chardonnay, this unique expression reflects the contrasting 2016 vintage—a cold, rainy spring followed by a hot, sunny summer that yielded grapes with exceptional aromatic complexity.
Silky Elegance & Barrel-Aged Refinement
Vinified in oak barrels and aged under natural cork for 7 years on the lees with manual riddling and disgorgement, B16 reveals ethereal finesse with only 4g/l dosage. The nose unveils delicate floral aromas of hawthorn and acacia honey, intertwined with white peach, bergamot, and sweet almond. The palate delivers silky, airy texture with ripe stone fruit, pear, and tarte Tatin flavors, marked by Pinot Noir's mineral expression and citrus notes. The finish showcases remarkable persistence with a saline hint.
