Product Description
Bollinger Special Cuvée represents the essence of the Bollinger style—the only non-vintage Champagne crafted like a vintage wine, with over 85% Grand and Premier Cru fruit aged far beyond appellation requirements. This iconic cuvée showcases why the house has held a Royal Warrant since 1884 and remains one of the last family-owned Grande Marques.
Uncompromising Winemaking
The blend consists of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, and 15% Pinot Meunier from across ten different vintages, with reserve wines aged up to 15 years in magnums. Fermented entirely in small oak barrels and aged minimum three years on lees (double the required time), this Champagne develops remarkable complexity and structure. Sealed with natural cork rather than crown caps during aging, each bottle gains distinctive character.
Timeless Excellence
The wine reveals golden color with fine bubbles, delivering aromas of ripe fruit, roasted hazelnuts, honey, and brioche. The palate shows exceptional depth with apple, pear, and subtle spice, balanced by vibrant acidity and a long, creamy finish. Wine Spectator consistently scores 90-92 points, while Vivino users award 4.2 ratings from thousands of reviews worldwide.
Bollinger Special Cuvée remains the benchmark for serious non-vintage Champagne—proof that tradition and quality never go out of style.
