Product Description
The wine exhibits an intense garnet color with bricking. As it slowly opens in the glass, it reveals enticing aromas of espresso, dark spice, menthol, and ripe black-skinned fruit. The palate is firmly structured, with integrated, close-grained tannins framing flavors of mature black cherry, licorice, clove, and grilled herb. It needs time to unwind and fully develop, and is best enjoyed between 2022 and 2035. The nose is racy and not very open, with subtle spices and exotic wood, fine roasted coffee, hay, and ripe plum. The palate showcases a magnificent velvety, refined, and profound presence, though the aroma has yet to fully awaken. It is the gold standard and has great potential for the future.
