Product Description
100% Chardonnay from biodynamically farmed clay-limestone vineyards on the Viré side of the appellation, hand-picked and fermented with native yeasts, then aged in large oak foudres for a straighter, more restrained style. Neal Martin (Vinous) notes "a lively bouquet with more yellow fruit... and touches of beeswax."
The palate is poised on entry, lightly spiced with impressive harmony, closing on a persistent, precise finish. A notch above the prior vintage, per Vinous.
