100% Pinot Noir from a single lieu-dit planted in the early 1930s, aged in oak barrels to let the old-vine sap dominate. Producer notes describe a darker, more black-fruited profile than the standard village bottling, with sappy richness and elegant power.
Spicy and fruit-filled on the palate, with elegant tea notes and good staying power through the mid-palate and finish. A serious, cellar-worthy Chambolle that rivals many premier crus for depth.
