This Arbois Trousseau from the Jura is a red from 100% Trousseau vines planted in 1972. The grapes soak with their skins for three weeks, then age for a year in large oak vats and clay jars. Expect morello cherry, red berries and a touch of pepper, with a juicy, spicy feel.
Serve it with roast chicken, pork with mushrooms or aged Comté. It suits red wine drinkers who like a fresh, spicy red.
