Founded in 1999 by legendary Meursault producer Dominique Lafon, Comte Lafon's Mâconnais estate applies the same rigorous biodynamic farming across 26 hectares of pure Chardonnay, making this among the most serious-value wines in Burgundy. Clos du Four vines, grown on argilo-calcareous soils, are vinified parcel-by-parcel with ambient yeasts and aged in foudres and demi-muids, with zero new oak to preserve crystalline terroir expression.
