Producing Chardonnay in Pouilly-Fuissé since 1840, now under Maison Louis Jadot, Domaine J.A. Ferret sources this premier cru from 60-year-old vines in the Fuissé amphitheatre. Fermented in 25% new oak barrels and aged nine months on lees, then bottled unfined and unfiltered for maximum terroir expression.
- Nose: Lime leaf, white blossom, and crushed stone lead the way, with a seductive undercurrent of spiced hazelnut butter and delicate acacia flowers — aromatic and inviting
- Palate: Ripe citrus and orchard apple frame the entry, layered with almond, savoury lees character, and a chalky clay minerality — taut, precise, and beautifully balanced throughout
- Finish: Long and mineral with persistent chalky grip, a subtle hazelnut note, and refreshing saline edge — best from 2026, drinking through 2032
