La Viallière 2023 is sourced from old-vine Syrah on the appellation's granite slopes, aged in French oak to preserve its vivid, terroir-driven character. Earning 95 points from James Suckling, 93 from Wine Spectator, and 92 from Wine Advocate, it is widely praised for its mineral precision and seamless structure.
The nose opens with violet, black olive, and smoked meat. On the palate, expect dense black cherry, graphite, and savoury tapenade, with a long, velvety finish. A serious, cellar-worthy Côte-Rôtie wine at its finest.
