Product Description
Made from four selected barrels sourced from the Bishop Creek vineyard in Yamhill-Carlton, nicolas-jay applies gentle whole-cluster pressing and long cold soaks before native fermentation, then full malolactic aging in French oak for 16-17 months.
Wine Spectator calls it "lilting and detailed, with expressive flavors of lemon," while the estate's own notes describe purity of fruit, beautiful texture and tension across the palate. The finish carries fine acidity and mineral drive - a rare, ultra-limited chardonnay expression of oregon's Willamette Valley from Burgundian winemaker Jean-Nicolas Méo.
