Dr. Loosen Tasting: 200 Years of Mosel Slate Terroir

We are thrilled to invite you to an exclusive wine tasting, showcasing the iconic German legendary estate, Dr. Loosen from the prestigious slate terroir of Middle Mosel. We will be tasting a curated selection of cuvées from Dr. Loosen with the company of world-renowned winemaker Mr. Ernst Loosen, expertly paired with refined fine dining menu.

Mr. Ernst Loosen took over the family estate in 1988 and has since elevated Dr. Loosen to global fame. Graduated from Germany’s prestigious Geisenheim University, he is recognised as one of the most influential Riesling winemakers in the world, awarded German Winemaker of the Year and named “Riesling Maestro” by international wine critics. His philosophy focuses on respecting nature, limiting crop yield and highlighting the pure expression of slate soil, vintage and vineyard.

Founded in the early 19th century, Dr. Loosen is a legendary family-owned estate with over 200 years of heritage in Germany’s Middle Mosel, the heart of Riesling country. For generations, the Loosen family has tended steep, slate-soil vineyards in Bernkastel, crafting Rieslings that reflect the region’s iconic terroir.
