Elvio Cogno’s Bordini Barbaresco DOCG 2022 comes from a two-hectare Nebbiolo parcel in Neive. A 20-day submerged-cap maceration and 12–14 months in large Slavonian oak casks preserve the site’s perfume and finesse.
Cherry, raspberry, rose and mineral notes glide across a vivid palate, framed by dusty tannins and bright acidity. Wine Spectator calls it “elegant,” with a “balanced and long” finish; Wine Enthusiast finds “dusty red berries and raspberry” over an “electric and energetic” profile.
